We’re excited to debut our new flex servers – the first servers we’ve built that are all-in-one.
With this new hardware, we could program a show in our office, roll one rack to a show, throw a small audio case on top of it and have a main and backup quad output server with a very small footprint.
These servers have a high Notch score of 109k – tied with the CTG series. They can play up to 40 4k layers at 30 frames per second or about 30 layers at 60 FPS. For live inputs we have 12G SDI, HDMI 2.0, Display Port 1.2,or Quad 3G SDI. You can use these in any combination up to 4 total input boxes. You can also swap that out for quad HDMI 2.1 inputs. They are liquid-cooled with further custom forced air, so we can play back and deal with all of those specifications above and still push media for updates.
These servers also use 25G networking and are capable of doing a combo job of programming and up to four DP 8k outputs at 60hrz. These servers work with all kinds of software, too – Vertex, Pixera, Pandora’s Box, and SMODE along with whatever other software may come to play. We also expect to update them to support 2110 by the beginning of 2026.
With this new gear, Thrasos is also entering the gear rental market. Fill out an inquiry form if you’re interested in renting a Flex Rack.
