We have been using Direct Take for almost a year now, and with their newest 3.0 version we are not sure there is anything more we could want from a record system. With 3.0 we can now record in multiple formats with timecode sync, meaning we can record an incoming presenter in a low-res PRXY to post for immediate editing while also recording a super high-quality version. An offsite editor can edit what they need to with the PRXY quickly and efficiently and then replace that with the high res version before they deliver the final edit. When you add this to our super high-res SRT and Sienna workflows, you get another huge bump in the quality of what you can deliver.
